John Freshwater

John fell in love with Jesus at an early age and never looked back. Before joining Search, he served in various capacities as a pastor, tennis pro, and franchise recruiter. John has lived near the beach his entire life and loves all sports and games. In fact, he jumps at the chance to compete in just about anything (be sure to ask him about his wedding competition). John and his wife, Mary, love spending time with their four kids and inviting others into their home.

Why did you choose to join Search?  God planted a dream in my heart for relational evangelism before I even knew Search existed. I quit my job and prayed constantly – I was all-in for whatever God was preparing me for. It was only a few weeks before someone approached me about Search, I immediately knew it was a perfect fit.
