April Zuiderveen

April graduated from UNC–Chapel Hill with a BA in Psychology and Communication Studies and then from Reformed Theological Seminary with a Masters in counseling. In 2006, April opened a private counseling practice that invited women and couples further into the Father's love as they navigated the struggles and sorrows of a fallen world. She considers it an honor and privilege to have walked alongside so many dear ones.

When April isn't counseling, she love to exercise, go for long walks with friends, visit the beach, and spend time with family. She's been married to her husband, Kurt, for 20 years. Their oldest is Lily, 17 years old and entering her senior year of high school. They have twin boys, Eliott and Asher, who are 14 and entering high school in August.
